
Thara Brown
Thara Brown is a proud Koori woman born on Wurundjeri Country in Kinglake. She is a proud descendant of her Aboriginal/Irish mother, from Yorta Yorta Country in Barmah Victoria, and her child migrant father from Malta.
Thara’s family’s stories drive her passion for culture, history, health, education and justice hoping to positively impact through her work in education and community.
Thara combines her passion and experience in community, education and dance, delivering workshops and programs to strengthen connection, expression and to empower young people and women.
Thara is leading Aboriginal led educational and impact initiatives in the hope to revitalise Australia’s connection and value of First Nations people, perspectives and knowledges in our educational settings and broader communities for a more informed and safer world.
